On Friday, March 21, a delegation from Holy Trinity parish consisting of Subdeacon Nicholas Ganson and parish council secretary Aleksandr Andreev travelled to Jordanville, New York, to take part in the funeral services for His Emminence Metropolitan Laurus of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the ROCOR. Vladyka Laurus fell asleep in the Lord on the Sunday of Orthodoxy, March 16.
In accordance with the decree of the Synod of Bishops, weekly memorial services for Vladyka Laurus will be held at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. May his memory be eternal!
