Episcopal Consecrations

Archimandrite George (Schaefer) has been consecrated Bishop of Mayfield, Pennsylvania and Archimandrite Jerome (Shaw) - Bishop of Manhattan. Both will serve as auxilliaries for the Eastern American Diocese. Our parish extends their Graces our prayers of support and most heartfelt congratulations.

Saturday, December 20 - Vigil at 6 PM Sunday, December 21 - Divine Liturgy at 9:30 AM Please note that as of mid-September, Sunday services begin at 9:30 AM. As a reminder, those who desire to commune on Sunday should go to Confession Saturday night during the Vigil.

Repose of His Holiness the Patriarch

It is with great sadness that we inform our parishioners and friends that His Holiness Patriarch Alexey II of Moscow and All Russia reposed in the Lord on December 5.

Pannykhidae for His Holiness will be served in all parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church, including ours.

Until the calling of a Local Council, His Eminence Metropolitan Cyrill will act as Locum Tenens by decision of the Holy Synod.

CHRIST IS BORN! GLORIFY HIM!

We congratulate all of our parishioners and friends of the parish with the joyous feast of the Lord's Nativity.

House Blessings

Father Alexander is going to be blessing houses on Friday, Feb 6 and Saturday Feb 7. If you would like to have your house blessed please let our Warden, Dr. Alex Primak, know by e-mailing starosta@holytrinitymission.com by Monday Feb 2. Be sure to include your contact information, address, and directions. Our starosta will either email you or phone you (whichever you prefer) regarding which day and approximately what time to expect Fr. Alexander.

Nocturns at 11:30 PM Sunday, April 19 -- PASCHA. THE RADIANT RESURRECTION OF CHRIST. -- Procession, Matins, and Divine Liturgy at Midnight Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!

Parish Feast

We invite everyone to join us for our parish feast, the Sunday of the Holy Trinity. The schedule of services will be as follows:

Saturday, June 6 - All-night Vigil at 6 PM
Sunday, June 7 - Divine Liturgy at 8:30 AM followed by Vespers with the reading of the Kneeling Prayers.

Following the Liturgy and Vespers, we will have a festive barbecue.

Episcopal Visit

We are pleased to announce that His Grace Bishop George of Mayfield will be paying a historic visit to our parish on October 9/10. His Grace will serve Vespers and Matins on Friday, October 9 and Divine Liturgy on Saturday, October 10. (Exact service times will be confirmed at a later date). Following the Liturgy, there will be a festive trapeza. As there are numerous preparations to be made for the episcopal visit, we would like to invite all of our parishioners and friends to help. Those interested in assisting with the beautification of the temple are asked to contact Aleksandr Andreev.
