RULES IN CHURCH

Please note that Holy Trinity is an Orthodox House of Worship. While we welcome visitors to join us for worship and fellowship, we ask that you be considerate of the following rules:
  • Please arrive early before the Liturgy
  • Please refrain from talking in Church, moving about, or chewing gum. Please calm your children. If your child is crying, take him outside.
  • Please note that seating is reserved for the ill, the elderly, and mothers with small children.
  • No one, except the Priest and those assisting him, is allowed in the Altar for any reason.
  • Please note that Holy Communion is reserved for Baptized Orthodox Christians who have properly prepared for this mystery. Except for children under the age of 7, no one may be allowed to receive Communion without Confession. Unless extenuating circumstances prevent you from attending the evening service, please go to confession the night before, after the evening service.
Dress Code:
  • Men should wear nice pants and a shirt. T-shirts and shorts are not appropriate church attire. Men should remove hats and other head covering before entering the church.
  • Women should wear modest clothing: skirts or dresses. Short skirts, revealing clothing, pants, and make-up are not appropriate.
  • We observe the ancient custom, stated by Apostle Paul, that women should cover their heads in church at all times.
